Welcome to the Professional Podcast Network where brilliance meets business, elevate your brand and supercharge your revenue with inspiring insights and innovation.
Phill: Hey there everyone, and welcome back to the show. This is your host Phill, and my next guest here today is Rose De Dan and she has her business, which is called Wild Reiki and Shamanic Healing based out of Seattle, Washington. How you doing today, Rose?
Rose: I’m doing well. How are you Phil?
Phill: I’m doing really well. Thank you for asking. So Rose, tell us more about what you offer here at Wild Reiki and Shamanic Healing.
Rose: So, my practice is dedicated to helping animals and people live happier, healthier lives. And that’s through energy healing sessions, classes and special events.
Phill: How long have you been in business?
Rose: I was calculating the other day and I was like, oh my gosh, it’s been 28 years since 1995.
Phill: Oh wow. Alright, so, tell us a little bit more here about your business here with, how you’re helping people and animals out.
Rose: So, through a variety of ways. I help people understand and support their animal companions with aging issues. And this is through sessions, so quality of life, behavioral issues, and all through Reiki and shamanic energy healing sessions and that also includes animal communication. And I specialize in working with animals in the end stages of life. I happen to love the seniors, but I work with animals of all ages and species and people.
I also teach live online Reiki and shamanic classes, which happen to be available worldwide these days, and lead events with animal ambassadors to help co-create deeper connections and a better way of walking on the Earth.
And throughout all this, I tell many stories and I’m the author of the book Tails of a Healer: Animals, Reiki and Shamanism.
Recently, I created a new video series Storytelling for Animals and People which blends stories about animals with video at fireside with my cats Manitou and Night Sky. And there happens to be, for those who are interested, a free sample on my YouTube channel. And you might discover that your animal can companions, might want to listen too. I get that feedback sometimes.
Phill: Alright, so, what was the thing that got you first started with all this Like what was your inspiration here
Rose: As a child, I was animal crazy, and one day I saw Disney’s The Three lives of Thomasina and I wanted to be like the woman who lived in the woods that the animals came to when they needed help. Many years passed, and I forgot my childhood dream, although my love of animals still remained. I reached a point in my life where it felt like it lacked meaning and purpose and something drew me to take a Reiki Level 1 class. I hadn’t, prior to that, I hadn’t taken anything in the energy healing realm. And during the attunement process, which opens up the student’s energy and connects them to the universal life force energy, which is known as Reiki, I experienced deep personal healing as well as awareness that all my life I had wanted to be a healer and that I would work with animals. And that moment changed my life for the better and led me to creating Wild Reiki and Shamanic Healing. And then what followed has been quite the journey of wonder and discovery.
Phill: Alright, excellent to hear. And Rose, we’re almost outta time here, but how do our listeners reach out to you and talk to you more about what you’re offering here?
Rose: I have a website, ReikiShamanic.com and you can read many more stories. I have a blog on my website and if you sign up for the newsletter, you receive some free gifts. You know, I’m passionate about rebuilding the lost connections between the animals and the people. I obviously don’t have time, it doesn’t sound like, to tell a story, but on my blog there’s some recent stories about interactions with animals through Reiki and their ability to create connection that way.
Phill: Alright, sounds good. Well, Rose, I want to thank you one last time here for joining us on the show today and telling us a little bit about what you offer here.
Rose: Thank you for hosting me.
Phill: You’re very, very welcome, Rose. You have a good day.
