One of the things I love about my energy healing practice is having something of value to offer my clients for support when their animal companion suddenly has an emergency.
I received a panicked email from long-term client Sandra regarding her cat Sage. Despite being on antibiotics after a vet visit on Saturday (he was running a temp), Sage was getting worse. Sandra asked if I could fit him in for a mini energy healing session, which we scheduled for after his recheck at the vet. That way I could also help him relax more after the stress of travel.
In the meantime, I told her I would send Reiki to the situation for highest and best good around the vet visit—doing so helps ease trauma for the animal client who usually does not enjoy going to the vet (I also Reiki the cat carrier), and assists in finding best support from a veterinary standpoint.
After his vet visit, I received the following lovely email from Sandra:
“One thing I’ve recognized is that I had the best interaction I’ve ever had with my vet yesterday, and I’m guessing it’s because of the reiki that you sent into the situation–supportive of everyone involved. And, to my great surprise, I found Sage sleeping in his cat carrier this morning. His [recheck] appointment is today.”
Always nice to hear that the feline client appreciates the energetic approach!
