The Wild Is Calling: Creating Positive Shift With Animals And Energy

The Wild is Calling: Creating Positive Shift with Animals and Energy

For many, 2019 was an emotional roller coaster of a year with personal loss and major challenges on a national and global scale.

I had my share of challenges last year, too. But I have this feeling that this new year offers greater opportunities for us all for positive shift than ever before. Opportunities that need to be pounced on, greeted with joy (think new catnip toy, lol), and lovingly embraced.

I got curious, and looked up a numerology site which said, “2020 is a very special year of perfect vision and accomplishment. The Numerology code for 2020 unveils a brand-new operating manual for the NEXT DECADE.”

Wildlife photographer Melissa Groo is someone I follow on social media, and I find a great deal of inspiration in her posts, photos, and her mission to raise awareness and spark change on behalf of All Our Relations. On January 1, 2020 she shared this quote:

“Once you start to awaken, no one can ever
claim you again for the old patterns.

Now you realize how precious your time here is.

You are no longer willing to squander your essence on undertakings that do not nourish your true self; your patience grows thin with tired talk and dead language.

You see through the rosters of expectation which promise you safety and the confirmation of your outer identity.

Now you are impatient for growth,
willing to put yourself in the way of change.

You want your work to become an expression of your gift.

You want your relationship to voyage beyond the pallid frontiers to where the danger of transformation dwells.

You want your God to be wild
and to call you to where your destiny awaits.”

—John O’Donohue

What is the Wild calling me to this year?

The quote made me ask myself, “What is the Wild calling me to this year?” The answer that came back is going to be a major undertaking, but it is one whose time has come. It is time to expand the opportunities for meeting in ceremony with even more animals than ever before. In essence, I need to take the ceremonies to with All My Relations on the road. This year it is the marine wildlife in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary that are calling: blue whales, humpbacks, orca, seals, sea lions, and so many more…Since the area is often referred to as the “Serengeti of the Sea” connecting with wildlife there makes a perfect counterpoint to the ceremonies with wildlife in Yellowstone National Park (referred to as the “Serengeti of North America”).

There will be other stops along the way to collect the prayers of the Zoo Animal Ambassadors at Oregon Zoo, possibly the Redwoods, etc. The road trip is planned for last week in August, but details are hazy as yet , so stay tuned as the vision for 2020 continues to evolve.

A Walk on the Wild Side at Earthfire Institute

This year will be our 10th year in ceremony with the land and the Animal Ambassadors at Earthfire Institute!

This event offers participants the opportunity to meet highly respected wild Animal Ambassadors, participate in shamanic ceremonies and learn from them over four days at Earthfire Institute.

The intention of the retreat is to break down barriers and build bridges of unity and connection, facilitating healing for all participants, both two and four-legged. The result is increased intuitive awareness and communication skills applicable to all species, and freedom from limiting patterns and lifelong negative beliefs. A powerful opportunity for deep personal healing as well as global transformation. Click here to learn more.

As I further pondered how best to support the animals and people in 2020, I was guided to the realization that teaching is still very much a part of that vision. The classes I offer are designed to empower students with knowledge and skills that foster personal and global transformation. And when we align with our hearts and with our spiritual allies it is said the universe actively conspires on our behalf—we can manifest whatever we desire.

Some classes that can help with that manifestation:

Reiki Level 1 offers training in self-healing as well as energy healing for other people and animals. It is a simple, yet profoundly powerful way of offering support for the highest and best good of each living being. I cannot imagine my life without it, and it blesses me with benefits in my own life on a daily basis. I had always been something of an animal magnet before Reiki, but learning Reiki definitely shifted my connection to a whole different level. Domestic and wild animals in need of healing support began to gravitate to me. It also enhanced my intuitive and animal communication skills. See this article for why I love Reiki.

Reiki 2 starts March 4: Want to take your Reiki skills to the next level? My five-week Reiki Level 2 class is loaded with energetic goodies like how to send Reiki over distance to animals, people and situations ( personal crises to climate change), increase emotional/spiritual healing, clear and seal a space with Reiki, build a Bridge of Light for the dying process, and more…Hope to see you there! Learn how to offer the healing energy of Reiki no matter how far away you are to people, domestic/wild animals, and situations (personal crises to climate change). Prerequisite: Reiki 1 with a qualified teacher. Don’t delay, registration closes at 4pm on March 4!

All Our Relations know the way back to balance and harmony, and they wish to share their wisdom with us. Bones, Stones, Feathers and Fur is an 8-week class series that connects students with their personal shamanic allies/guides as well as introducing them to some of my guides through shamanic journeys, storytelling and lifework . Those connections and exercises are personally healing, and continue to offer you ways to support your evolutionary process after class ends. Imagine a life of change without resistance, the ability to maintain balance and flow, one where you are constantly guided on your path—a path that offers you contentment and a sense of harmony and well-being, both physical and spiritual.

So, let’s make 2020 the best year ever!
