Yard Art For Democracy

Yard Art for Democracy

I have neighbors around the corner and a few doors down who not only have not taken down their lawn signs supporting Kamala Harris in the last election but who have added signage calling out 47 (I refuse to use his name or title) in no uncertain terms. I think it is brave every time I pass by. And as each news day revealed another assault on decency, compassion, truth, and democracy (the verbal assault on heroic Ukraine President Zelensky made me crazy) their display inspired me to do a search on Etsy for something that expressed my beliefs.

Normally, I speak my piece quietly, without a lot of fanfare. However, I feel that right now every thoughtful statement we make through words and art contribute energetically to creating positive shift and change. And I will shamanically- and Reiki-bless them when they arrive. Together, we are strong.

I can’t wait to welcome my new yard flags and join the neighborhood resistance!

P.S. If you like the art, the artist is VeryFriendlyBoutique.
