Meowy Christmas from Wild Reiki and Shamanic Healing
In 2018, shortly before Christmas, I adopted Night Sky as a kitten. I was not planning on bringing another cat into the household at the time, but while I was looking at a post by a local foster, my guides tapped me on the shoulder and told me that there was a black kitten in the litter that was for me. Five black kittens were born, but it was clear from the beginning which one was destined to live with me. I am still trying to figure out why me, lol, but my guides say I will know in time.
Earlier this year, I decided that I needed to do something different, something meaningful, and decided to become a foster. I thought I wanted kittens (who doesn’t?), but my guides told me my experience was needed for semi-feral adults. And that is how I met Jimmy, Noctua, and Sadiya in May. It has been quite a journey for us all, but they are doing well. Jimmy went into remission from his diabetes (yay!) and was adopted within two days of being posted. He was in his new home before Thanksgiving.
Sadiya and Noctua are still here, and we can enjoy more personal and social time. I am experimenting with seeing how they respond to Reiki while we practice socialization skills. Sadiya has turned out to be a Reiki junkie, lol. You can see one of their videos here.
And that brings me to Tamerlan, the very unexpected third cat member of my household. Perhaps he was the answer to my original desire to have kitten energy in the house. Still, I never expected that playfulness to come in the form of a 3-5-year-old starving, semi-feral tomcat who had never lived in a house before!
Despite my reservations on many counts (including Night Sky and Manitou) and some challenges, Tamerlan is becoming a fascinating household member. He has brought in a lot of lightness, a bit of mischief, and a ferocious appetite (if it is not locked up, or washed up, it is GONE).
Throughout this year I have been blessed with an incredible network of people who have made a good life possible for Tamerlan, Jimmy, Noctua, and Sadiya. My gratitude to all for making this Meowy Christmas possible!
My resident Anna’s hummingbird has his own set of Christmas lights, which I expanded on this year. Now he has two matching feeders and a Christmas wreath—a gift from a kind neighbor. Very festive, and he loves the lights!
I am very appreciative of the gifts All My Relations offer me year-round. It warms my heart to be able to offer them something in return.
Blessings, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays!
