Crows Rogue and Milady Sipping and Dipping
Crows Rogue and Milady showed up together this morning for breakfast at the Wild Rose Cafe. I imagine they were taking a much-needed break from the nestlings to refuel and decompress.
When I served the daily offering of mixed nuts, Rogue first flew to the birdbath to make sure it was nice and clean. It passed inspection, and the nuts were gathered and placed in the birdbath to soak. Then the sipping and dipping began. They reminded me of a married couple dunking donuts in their morning coffee, lol.
Grateful for their company, and for their allowing me to photograph them. And how gorgeous are their glossy black feathers?
