Audio Whale Teachers #3: Humpback Whales and Orcas

Experience the wisdom and healing of the Humpbacks and Orcas

In 2015 I felt a strong call from the whales to bring the people to them in shamanic ceremony. So I scheduled three whale watch tours and telecalls to meet with the gray whales, orcas, humpbacks and other marine mammals and wildlife (if you would like to see what happened in 2014 check out Whale Watching the Shamanic Way).

Our first visit in the series was with the Gray Whales in April (see Gray Whale Teachers #1).

Our second encounter was with a pod of transient Orcas in June (see Whale Teachers #2: The Orcas).

Our third visit was to be with the Humpback Whales, some of whom spend their summers off the Washington coast, feeding on krill, small shrimp-like crustaceans, and various kinds of small fish before beginning their long winter migration to more tropical waters.

It was my expectation that we would be focusing solely on the Humpbacks for the whale watch and shamanic journey, but it turned out that the Southern-resident Orcas wanted to be represented too! They were gathered to hunt the salmon running at this time of year, and have a different culture than the transient Orcas we met in Whale Teachers #2 (who are seal hunters).

It was an unexpected bonus to have encounters with two Southern-resident Orca families, including one of the four babies, J50 (Scarlett – currently in the news as an ailing adult) and our encounter included a “holy wow” moment that will live in my heart forever. So, these Orcas have a very important message for us, too.

The Whale Teachers want to offer healing for participants and share messages through a guided shamanic journey. Since they want to reach as many people as possible, the call is now available as a podcast.

Storytelling, Photos and Shamanic Journey

During the audio I share stories of our encounters with the whales, and you’ll have access to photographs taken the day of the whale watch for a better connection with the experience and the whales.

And with the assistance of my allies, the Humpbacks, Orcas and other marine wildlife, I also guide you on a powerful, ancient shamanic journey to discover what messages, insights, and healing the Whales wish to offer for greater spiritual growth and connection.
