5 Tips on How to Power Up Your Reiki Practice

Building a sustainable spiritual practice takes dedication and commitment, but it does not have to cost a lot in advertising dollars. Indeed, you can create buzz for $50 or less. Here are five simple and inexpensive suggestions to generate interest in Reiki and new clients and students for your practice.

1. Use your car as an advertising vehicle and show the world what powers your life. There are custom magnetic signs that you can put on the side of your car with business name, logo, phone and website, but you can also add a license plate frame or bumper sticker, ensuring that interested clients will see what you do from all directions.

2. Dress for success. You can literally dress for success by wearing stylish Reiki t-shirts, hoodies or hats wherever you go: gym, jogging, errands, etc. Is your focus Reiki for animals? Pet sitter or dog walker? Attach a button to your purse, clothing or gear or wear a hat (with pawprints, of course!), to the dog park, or while out walking the dog(s). And there’s also a Reiki t-shirt for your dog or cat, too.

4. Got Reiki? Display your skills with style and humor while working out, traveling, running errands, or shopping with messenger bags, gym bags, and totes.

5. Reiki Woman, Dude or Master? Stay cool while heating up your practice. Portable and practical water, food, coffee and tea containers with a Reiki twist: water bottles, can coolers, thermos and mugs. “Put the Cho in your Joe!”

Remember, your car, your t-shirt, purse, hat or shopping bag are all vehicles that can help drive your healing practice to success. Get people to ask you, “What is Reiki?” And be sure to carry your business cards with you at all times so that you can leave them with contact information and a way to visit your website.

  1. I absolutely love this article. You are making it fun and it is true. Bringing a ‘real business’ flavor into your practice is actually really healing and grounding for many Reiki practitioners, i.e. exactly what they need to do.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR.
