In these times, I feel that the “What one fears, one destroys” part of this quote also applies to other people, not just wildlife.

Traditionally, Sunday was a day of rest and reflection on our spiritual connections. These days, we live a much faster-paced lifestyle, which makes bite-sized reminders like this one helpful.

I would also like to highlight a recent post by fellow Substack writer Mitzi Koch. Through her art, Koch expresses the soulful inner landscape of All Our Relations while drawing attention to the human-created issues they face, such as the death by car of rare white bear Nakoda.

“Coyote,” her latest piece, draws much-needed attention to a coyote-killing contest still held annually in Wyoming, very near the town where young wolf Hope was tortured to death last year.

I’ll conclude with words of inspiration from Mountain Lion Elder Windwalker: “Together we are strong. Together we can heal ourselves and this world.”
