We are having a massive, record-breaking heat wave here in Seattle of 100+ degrees. It is now 8:00 p.m., and the temperature has only dropped down to 98 degrees!

When I reviewed images from the cam of last night and this morning, I was surprised to see so many wildlife visitors take a long pause and look straight into the camera—I felt that they were saying “thank you.” So many days of high temps made keeping their water sources clean and clear a priority for me. I am so glad I did—their appreciation comes across loud and clear in the video!

To anyone who will listen—we must make climate change our top priority. And the animals can help us with that—together we are strong! (Read Windwalker’s Message for the World for how.)
