On October 12, I offered a Reiki demonstration for animals at Mud Bay in West Seattle. I had a wonderful time with all the people and their dog and cat companions. The energy was flowing, and all the animals went from nervous (or highly energized in the case of two puppies) to calm and relaxed. It is hard to pick a favorite since they were all such good Reiki recipients.
When the entire herd of horses want Reiki at the same time, being able to offer Reiki distance healing energy comes in handy!
Prior to the start of A Walk on the Wild Side at Spirit Owl Ranch in July, horses (l to r) Soup Kitchen, Dallen, Dusty and Reuger had gotten accustomed to my offering them Reiki after their breakfast.
Once the event began, they were definitely expecting to receive their daily Reiki, and requested some as the attendees and I were walking to the back pasture to greet the day. Of course, I could not turn them down! Dusty starts it, but you can see several of the horses “licking” the energy out of my hands as I use my Reiki 2 skills to send Reiki to each individual in the herd at the same time.
If you are interested in learning Reiki Level 1, or continuing on to Reiki Level 2, both classes are open for registration. If you are interested in attending A Walk on the Wild Side at Spirit Owl Ranch, it is being offered again in October.
