One of the many things I enjoy about my energy healing practice is the great variety of wonderful animals and people I meet, and podcast host Lisa Aston is one of them.
When she asked me if I would consent to doing an interview with her I based my answer on my guides response, “Say yes,” and I’m glad I listened. Lisa and I share a similar path to Reiki and the animals, but I recently learned that she is also a singer/musician. One of her songs entitled “You” is the very beautiful soundtrack for a sweet video in support of The Orangutan Project.
Saying yes turned out to be the easy part, the interview itself took some doing because Lisa is in Australia and I am in the U.S. which meant we had to select a time when neither of us would have to get up at an odd hour. The first time we tried to converse the technical connection was horrible. After an hour of troubleshooting to no effect we rescheduled. Apparently we needed to wait—on our second attempt the energy was so strong it drew my cats right into the interview, which is why I sound a little scattered at the beginning. There was a lot going on!
This interview is in two-parts, and the intensity of it surprised Lisa and myself—the animals were definitely wanting to be heard! Listen as we discuss animal communication, Reiki, shamanism and the healing wisdom of the animal teachers who can show us the way back to who we are.
