I am delighted to announce that registration is now open for the 8th Annual A Walk on the Wild Side: Answering the Call of the Wild 2017.

When: October 5-8, 2017
Where: Earthfire Institute Wildlife Sanctuary, Driggs, Idaho

This 4-day event offers participants the opportunity to meet highly respected wild Animal Ambassadors and participate in shamanic ceremonies with them.

A powerful opportunity for deep personal healing as well as global transformation.
The intention of the retreat is to break down barriers and build bridges of unity and connection, facilitating healing for all participants, both two- and four-legged. The result is increased intuitive awareness and communication skills applicable to all species, and freedom from limiting patterns and lifelong negative beliefs.

Each year is different.
It is a privilege to be able to return each year to reconnect with Susan Eirich and Jean Simpson, greet old animal friends and make new ones. Every year how the animals interact with us shifts and changes as we shift and change individually, and collectively. No two years are the same.

Here’s what some 2016 participants said:

“I have gained a sense of wonderment that has been missing in my life. This weekend has sparked the feeling of openness that is only read about…The biggest highlight of this retreat was witnessing the effect that love has on the land, animals and people.”—Joanne Ruocco

“I am very grateful for the experience. I will keep it in my heart and soul and share it with all the people I meet and are able to listen. Being able to contact the animals in a way I didn’t even dare dreaming of.”—Susanne Ritzenthaler

“I was able to release old wounds and fears surrounding my intimate connection with wildlife and nature as a whole. I regained a deep respect and reverence for nature and for myself in the process.”—Sheri Reece

“I gained a lost connection between myself and animals. It’s not that I couldn’t connect; it’s that the connection has changed to a much deeper level. The type of connection has also changed from a domestic understanding back to a wild and natural understanding.”—Jolene Lugo

Currently A Walk on the Wild Side: Answering the Call of the Wild is the only retreat being hosted at Earthfire Institute that is open to the public, so interest is high and the event may fill quickly. If you wish to attend you should not delay in securing your spot.

I should also add that this event is created and guided by the animals—living and in spirit—and it is not guaranteed that it will be offered again next year. I consider each year that I get to join the animals in ceremony at Earthfire a gift, and I hope to see you there!

Blessings,
